Vacancies

Yes, we have some positions available now!

In the first quarter of 2024 we have an immediate
requirement for a percussionist who owns their own kit.

Hunstanton Concert Band is a small, thriving band of woodwind, brass and percussion players, performing in concerts, on bandstands, in churches and at fĂȘtes throughout West Norfolk. In June, 2012 we performed at Sandringham House for the H.M. Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee, and we were at Sandringham again in March 2022 when we played for Her Majesty's tea party - the last H.M. would host at Sandringham. We have played on a number of occasions for the High Sheriff of Norfolk. In March, 2015 we played at the Justice Service in King's Lynn Minster.

We would welcome applications from musicians with the following instruments:

Trumpet/Cornet/Flugelhorn, French Horn and Bassoon

...and we would especially welcome applications from all low brass players - that's Baritone/Euphonium, Eb Tuba and Bb Tuba. We can loan a Baritone if you can play it and want to join us!

As Hunstanton Concert Band actually owns very few instruments all other applicants should own their own and, of course, a music stand.
